I am trying to play a game called Dark Ages on my new computer, but every time I open it, it immediately says "Dark Ages has stopped working." Then "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." However, it never gives any details as to what the problem actually is. No one else seems to have the same problem with the game, and it worked on my old computer which used Windows XP and I tested it on another computer with XP and it worked fine. My new one has Windows 7. Could that be the problem, or is it a problem with my computer? I tried running it in compatibility mode, but there was no change. Reinstalling it didn't help either.
This is the game: www.darkages.com
It is an older mmorpg game, so I don't know why I shouldn't be able to run it. Does anyone know a lot about computers and what might make it do this?
Thanks!

I work at a small school with a bell system based on a clock that I am not able to change (don't ask). Therefore, for convenience sake, I'd like to have every computer on the campus to have its time synchronized with our domain controller according to a time that I set. I know how to set up the GP to synch with time.windows.com, but how do I setup our domain controller as the NTP?<br><br>Domain controller: Windows Server 2003 R2 <br>Clients: Windows XP

I'm uninstalling service pack 3 of Windows XP so I can uninstall Internet Explorer 8 (I believe it's corrupted). My computer is uninstalling Service pack 3, but it's been on the last step for possibly an hour now. Normally, how long does this take? Should I do a hard shut down?<br><br>edit: SOLVED <br>refer to: <a href="http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=101&threadID=327207&messageID=3258433&tag=wideContent;wsUpdatesList" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=101&threadID=327207&messageID=3258433&tag=wideContent;wsUpdatesList</a>

I have never made any partition but still my computer shows two windows. One which i used to use before installing windows 7 i.e. windows xp and second one is windows 7. My hard disk is 320 gb and both windows xp and windows 7 shows 320 gb. So there is not really any partition really. But why is it still showing two windows on startup? What is the problem and how can it be rectified?

i have 4 servers. the 2 domain controllers are server 2003 ML350G3/4. Recently i upgraded the file server to a ML350G5.Ever Since it was installed i have had a constant problem of network drives disconnecting, any drive mapped through windows xp disconnects, effectively crashing whatever network resourses are connected at the time. there are vista pc's on the same domain at the same time that remain unaffected.if i reboot the file server then the connections return, this is the only way to get them back, there is nothing in the server logs to say what the fault is, or even that one occured. i have had outside engineers look into this with no solution. can anyone help ?
