Open Question: Do I need to buy extra thermal paste for my processor?

I recently bought myself an upgrade for my PC, a retail boxed Quad-Core Intel. The heatsink fan that came with it has some grey pads on the bottom of it, are these as a replacement for thermal grease/paste, or as well as. Open Question: Does SolidWorks 2007 support 64 bit processors?

I run a fully licenced copy of SolidWorks 2007, and I have upgraded my computer to a 750 i% Intel Processor, capable of 64bit on quad chips running at 564 bit. My question is, does SolidWorks 2007 support 64 bit, is it multithreaded for quad cores. I intend to upgrade from Windows XP sometime, if the software is stable under windows 7 for example.

Open Question: Is a graphics card with ddr2 memory compatible with a motherboard using ddr1?

I have an intel pentium dell that needs a video card upgrade and I am using DDR1 ram sticks. The cards I have been shopping for occasionally pop up with the specs of DDR2 as the video memory. Will the DDR2 on the video card just slow down to the speed of the DDR1 or will the motherboard end up choking and sputtering and get self-conscious that it's not moving as fast as my video card? 3.2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 on a Dell Motherboard
