Open Question: illegal or Not ?- Need for speed music extractor?

Ok now, i love playing games and i do pay for them. I know that, just downloading them from somewhere, and installing a crack is Piracy, and is illegal. I was just wondering, if things like Music extractors are legal or not..? What if i install a legitimate copy of NFS Most Wanted, and extract all the songs in it, using a cheap music extractor software..! I'm not sure, i think, it must be legally OK, to do it. hehe, What do u think..?
